Join an information session and learn more about the proposed Safe Food for Canadians Regulations

What it is:

The CFIA will be hosting in-person and web-based information sessions across the country in February and March 2017.

Who it is for:

Food businesses and consumers

What you will learn:

  • important background and key facts on the proposed Regulations
  • what the proposed Safe Food for Canadians Regulations would mean to consumers, food importers, and businesses that prepare food for export or trade across provinces
  • how to submit your written comments during the consultation

You will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Note: There is no cost to register for an event. However, participants are responsible for covering all associated travel costs, including accommodation, transportation, parking and food. Light refreshments will be provided.
